Bachelor in Paradise | Life After Kristina
[SPOILERS] So tonight we’re only getting an hour episode + I’m starting 45 minutes late but I was cooking dinner + meal prepping. I’d been looking forward to sausage + peppers all day. But that’s a post for another time. We know three more girls are coming this episode.
According to Dominique, Dean was devastated that Krisina left, but then they cut to him doing tequila shots in the pool. But she’s recapping where everyone is + people seem solid. She doesn’t seem to think anyone could break up the couples down on the beach. But Chris meets Jaimi, the curly haired bisexually-identifying woman from Nick’s season + hands her a date card. Instead of grabbing the girls first, she went to the guys first. But now she’s interviewing the girls. But then Diggy pops up so she wants to chat. She’s clearly interested in him. Instead of asking, she just states that she’s taking Diggy. Jasmine isn’t particularly thrilled + I don’t blame her.
On their date, Diggy is trying to guess her nationality, which is “Italian + Black” + she’s explaning her bisexual journey. It seems they’re vibing but I don’t see the chemistry in their conversation, but he leans in for a kiss.
Back at the resort, DLo is reveling too much in Kristina’s absence. It really upsets me. When women rejoice in others’ pain. The twins come in with a date card so they pull Amanda aside to get the lay of the land. They’ve come in with “we’re getting what we want” attitudes. Haley asks Jack on a date who says yes, which I wasn’t expecting. Emily pulls Dean aside with the intention of asking him on a date. Dean is uncomfortably laughing as Emily tells him she’s not taking “no” for an answer. Emily is in shock but like chill. But Dean thinks she’s hot. She’s not going on a date with anyone but him. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by her adamant pushiness. I’m sure I’ve come across that way, but still. Emily goes to Amanda to find out what to do + they come to the conclusion that she should talk to DLo. DLo isn’t going to give her a yes or no, it’s his decision. If he wants to go, he can go. So Emily pulls Dean aside again. He’s asking her not to ask him. She says she’s not gonna go if he won’t go but he’s still not into it. He said that if she’d come at any other time it could have been different. So after two attempts of getting Dean to come, she finally asks Jonathan/Tickle Monster. In their ITM, they have choice words for DLo + Taylor who’re dating the guys they wanted. Emily wants no part of this date but that’s who she’s got.
So we cut to Taylor + Derek being really cute + falling in love with each other. They’re so stinking adorable + I’m a huge fan! Haley + Emily have decided they’re on the date with each other + “these duchebags” are coming along. But Jack has decided he wants to say with Christen. Haley is being so rude to him. So the twins scream “(bleep) everyone here” + storm out. But then they have a plate of scallops + are throwing them down the stairs. Honestly I Love them but I’m just not a fan of their behavior. Like girls, bye. But were they just meant to be her for a day, just to be funny? Because this was wild. Jack says they’ll be fine. They’ll go home to watch Frozen + play with their fidget spinners. Jack can see a future with her + I truly hope he does.
Now Dean + DLo are being irritating again. But we’ll cut to Ken + Barbie aka Robby + Amanda. Taylor + Derek are planning how many times they can have sex in a fantasy suite before they can get engaged. In comes Chris who invites them to the rose ceremony + informs them it’s their last day in paradise. Like what the heck? This was so abrupt. I know you could have given me more footage, editors. This was really a waste of an episode. Thanks for nothing! I guess we’ll find out on the conclusion of BIP next week. Eye roll.
